When a gate gets hit - whether by a vehicle backing up, a delivery truck cutting too close, or just an accident - the damage is more than cosmetic. A bent post and a hinge that's been knocked loose means your access point isn't doing its job anymore. For a commercial property like this, that's a real problem.

Here's what we were working with: a fence post that had been knocked out of plumb and a gate hinge that had been pulled away from the post entirely after an impact. The gate couldn't close properly, which left the entry point unsecured. Not a situation you can leave sitting.

We straightened the post and reeled the hinge back into position, welding everything back solid so the gate operates the way it should. That's the thing about mobile welding - we bring the shop to the job. No hauling anything off, no waiting on a fabrication timeline. We set up on site and handle it right there.

Gate repair like this is pretty common after vehicle impacts, and it's the kind of thing that looks simple from the outside but has to be done right. If the hinge isn't fully secured or the post isn't truly plumb, the gate will keep causing problems - the hardware wears unevenly, the latch stops lining up, and eventually you're back to square one. Getting the repair done properly the first time is what keeps that from happening.

A functioning gate is a functioning security perimeter. Whether it's a commercial lot, a venue, or a private property, keeping that access point working correctly matters. Mobile welding makes it a lot easier to get that fixed without a drawn-out process.
