When a pontoon has a structural issue where the deck meets the float tube, you can't just slap a patch on it and call it a day. That connection point takes constant stress - from water, weight, and movement. It has to be solid. Anything less and you're just delaying the same problem.

We came out to Winchester, TN and handled this one on-site. That's the whole point of mobile welding - the customer doesn't have to figure out how to haul their boat somewhere and sit on a waiting list. We come to where the boat is, assess what's going on, and get to work.

The repair here involved aluminum welding right at the junction between the deck framing and the pontoon tube. Aluminum is a different animal compared to steel - it conducts heat fast, it's less forgiving, and if you don't know what you're doing, you can make the situation a lot worse. Getting a clean, strong bead on aluminum in a tight spot like this takes real experience.

What matters at the end of the day is that the customer gets back on the water with a fix that's built to hold. Not a temporary workaround. An actual repair that addresses the weak point and restores the integrity of the connection. That's what we delivered here, and that's what we show up to do every time.
